Well John, he was my MP for ever (or it seemed like) and then they aligned the constituency’s. There is no getting to know this guy. I volunteered…etc,. he is an anomaly. I would LOVE to talk to someone that GETS him. I would love to have him be transparent or to find out that he is shy. It is a MYSTERY as stated above. Trust me, no one is an elitist or nose in the air conservative, here. Calgary West, is also none of those but the Liberal that tried to beat him was all of those things. It is hard to be a lousy conservative in Calgary but this guy is a card short of a deck. Sorry.

But I also am having unsettling recollections of every dystopian SF story I have ever read in which increasing government repression is often signaled by just this sort of social change.There would be some trepidation on my part for giving that sort of power to the folks who have brought us the TSA, Homeland Security, and legalized fishing expeditions.
