Looks like we’ve somehow made it all the way to 2026. Last year felt like it went poof!
Minecraft has been a huge highlight for my year. I played A LOT! My daughter got me playing early in 2025, and I now have over 792 hours of playtime (33 days) all from last year 😬– that’s a ton of crafting and then mining. We’ve done streams of game play, played with all sorts of add-ons.. but most of my time into my “forever survival realm” which I just got past 2825 days played [in game days]. I have lots of farms, and my base is looking awesome. My favorite piece is the mob zoo. Lots of Minecraft to play in the new year too.
Pokémon cards have been going hard too. I bought and sold so much. My Eevee collection grew a bunch. Still trying to get every print of every card in every language.. very long term goal. Well, technically multiple tiers to the goal. Main goal: All English Eevee cards. Secondary is all Japanese Eevee cards. Then lifetime / long term (or probably never goal) is every Eevee ever!! The professor program has been awesome. I helped run or judge 48 tournaments in 2025 (between TCG, VG, and GO). Looking to grow in the professor program as well.
Other things and stuff happened. I suck at recap things. I never finished editing that video (maybe one day). I need to record some of the Minecraft gameplay and make some vids for the YouTube thing. That would be cool. I am working on my health and getting more fit. Trying to get my office chaos under control (too many cards). Trying to be more present, and less doom scroll the social media things (this has been awesome being on socials less).
So 2026 should be an awesome year. Maybe I will actually light a fire and be better about updating the site, making content, being out there more (and less of lurking the shadows).
