  1. Big push by my local board the last couple of weeks to open house the miserable inventory today. For this we have directors, sub-directors and a small army of office & support staff? These aren’t open houses, folks. It’s more like William Wallace’s execution in Braveheart. A slow, gruesome, excruciating spectacle that serves as a warning.

  2. Great article Megan!,Maybe in the future to expand on PPC strategies. for example regarding “Long Tail KW”, as you know with a startup company it takes time to track, and test the long tail before you can pinpoint the different level of “long tail” to see if it is converting.which of course brings out other KPI’s to look at such as clicks, impress, CTR, Conv, and CPA. This is supplemented with info about the ad & landing page to analyze. What was the CTA on landing page to help with the conversions, etc..Anyways, I love the article from WordStream.

  3. I haven’t seen any consensus or any discernible pattern in the reviews so far — major or minor media, bloggers or critics, comic die-hards or “it was a comic book?” — I’ve seen disturbingly polar responses from everyone. But after decades of waiting to see this little exercise play out, oh, hell, there’s no way I’m staying home for this. (And your, and your mother’s, response gives me hope.)I bought my tickets…thirty-five minutes ago.

  5. You have to do the meta refresh correctly: 1)0 seconds meta refresh2) a robots noindex meta tag.3) no page content except a plain html link to the new page, nothing else. No css, no images, no adding any content whatsoever. Then it works and quite fast as far as changing urls over to the new site in the index goes.Whether inbound links also get transferred, no idea.

  6. For me it’s the fact that this mentality is then shared onto adulthood and pushed onto adults, which then turns into a “who’s showing shoulders, who’s the better parent” debates. The Strength of Youth is a guideline. Overemphasized to the point of being a rule rather than suggestion.

  8. The Second Amendment march on Washington is going to be in 2010 – one of the problems with a march on DC is the time it takes for the permits, and the time and money it takes to get the porta-potties, security, etc. It takes someone with a lot of money and organizational and fund-raising ability. It is do-able, but I have a sneaking suspicion it would be tough getting a permit, too.Ro

  9. Could you please not allow the porn videos to invade the general public access to youtube? Surely anyone who likes that sort of thing could switch on to another channel or something so as not to pullute our enjoyment of the site?

  10. I struggle with self-promotion and pride — two things that I have been guilty of in the past. I don’t know how to separate those out. I love to see my name in print — and it’s sad that i can be so vain. Often when I write, I want people to say “wow, you are so insightful and smart.”My tipping point should be the work of God and not because of my own vain effots. Is that possible?
